Item 01. Avery Hi-Liter

I figured I'd start with the writing instrument that I'm currently using. Going through 4 hours of case briefs and utilizing my favorite highlighter. The Avery Hi-Liter is actually fairly hard to find. I can't recall off the top of my head what major retailers sell these wonderful fluorescent markers, but I know I've had to make a couple stops before I found them.

The main, and basically only, reason I use these, is because they don't bleed. I've tried many highlighters, most of which bleed through the pages, leaving stains on the backside of reading. Others don't bleed through, but don't dry quickly, which then end up staining the previous/next page that it touches when the book/notebook is closed. Such a terrible and annoying mess.

I'll be using a standard American grading scale to rate my posts. This particular item gets a 95. I have nothing to complain about them. Perfection as far as highlighters go. They do their job with no negatives. 5 points off for appearance of the highlighter itself and because they are hard to find. It is very basic in design, whereas there are some other pretty cool looking rival highlighters that show the highlighty juice level. But those are typically the ones that bleed the most.

Could use some rubber grip, but I can't complain too much.

Appearance/Awesomeness - 2/10
Nothing too awesome to report.
